Dr. Mike Mills, consultant gastroenterologist at the University Hospital of the West Indies, responds to a question during his presentation on Stress-related Disorders of the Gastro-intestinal Tract. The occasion was a continuing education seminar for pharmacists on Sunday, May 29 at the Jamaica Conference Centre. Dr. Mills discussed symptoms and management protocols for a range of stress-induced disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Over 200 pharmacists attended the event hosted by Cari-Med Limited and Abbott, under the theme ‘Stress Release’.
