Glen Christian to be Inducted into the PSOJ Hall of Fame

Mr. Glenford “Glen” Christian, OD, JP; CEO and Chairman of Cari-Med Limited and Kirk Distributors Limited, will be this year’s 22ndinductee into the prestigious Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) Hall of Fame. He will be officially inducted at a gala event scheduled for Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel.

PSOJ President Chris Zacca, in commenting on Christian’s upcoming induction, said, “Glen is one of the most prolific examples of a home-grown entrepreneur and business leader. Having risen from the depths of poverty to be the success that he is today, his story is one of hard work, integrity, determination and vision. We are eagerly looking forward to welcoming him as the 22ndinductee into the PSOJ’s Hallof Fame.”

Mr. Christian joins a list of 21 previous inductees, including last year’s recipient, Antony “Tony’ Hart, the man credited with developing Montego Bay into the second city it is today.

Each year, since 1992, the PSOJ pays tribute to a private sector leader who has made innovative and sustained contributions to the development of the private sector over a minimum of 25 years, has demonstrated in-depth knowledge of the industry in which his/her company operates and demonstrates an unwavering commitment to the advancement of his industry and to national development.
