Pediasure Reaffirms Commitment to Covenant Track Meet

This is where it all begins. This was the sentiment expressed by Allison Dexter, Senior Product Manager of Cari-Med Limited as she announced her company’s sponsorship of the 16th staging of the Covenant –Pediasure Over Distance Development Track Meet.
Speaking at the launch of the event at Cari-Med’s offices on March 31, Ms. Dexter noted, “As we mention… high schools that are excelling in sports, let it be known that Cari-Med and Pediasure know that it is from the Covenant/Pediasure Over Distance Development Track Meet and other similar development meets that these talents will emerge. This is the feeding ground, your prep and primary schools where the talent is unearthed and developed.”
Over 800 athletes are slated to participate in this year’s staging of the Meet which will be held on April 18 at the UWI Mona Bowl. The meet is organized by Covenant Christian Academy and Children’s Centre (CCACC) and is supported by title sponsor for the event, Abbott Nutrition International, (makers of Pediasure and Ensure) through its distributor Cari-Med. Pediasure will be the title sponsor of the track meet for the fourth consecutive year.
The Covenant –Pediasure Over Distance Development Track Meet is the premier athletic development event that encourages young athletes to ‘go the distance’, by raising the metre bar on standard track and field distances. This is the fourth consecutive year in which it is being sponsored by Pediasure.
